I never thought I'd actually cut my
sisterlocks off, but it feels great to let them go after nine years! It was just time for me to move to the next phase of my life. I did leave my 'youth loc' that you see on the side of my head for cultural
tradition reasons, and I am so happy I did this. I might start them over again but for now I am enjoying how
my hair feels, its weird to comb my hair after
9 years of no comb. If you think its time to restart your
sisterlocks, then I say do it! If you are contemplating starting them, you should!

You are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAll the best for this new stage in your journey and thanks for all the inspiration and encouragement this far! Looking forward to the future :)
I love it. When it's time to move on, it's great to have the strength to move on. Do you think you will grow thicker, traditional locs next?
ReplyDeleteTerez, I might do that but it won't be anytime soon, I think I would try the organic locs this time, no uniform partings and corporate friendly stuff, Im ready to look like the I don't have a job, lol
